Follow up on DSpace and Fedora

It has been getting a lot of attentions on the digital repository as the content/object archive system in place of the current network (web) file systems. There are discussions on whether the digital repository should be a component of LMS or a peer system of LMS. Two of popular OSS implementations are DSpace and Fedora. Here is a pretty good comparison on the both http://outgoing.typepad.com/outgoing/2006/03/repository_comp.html

One of my project (alpha implementation) on DSpace is at:

It is integrated with the LDAP - pretty easy!

One of my goals is to adopt Fedora as the back end with the rich API and web services and using the DSpace as the front and middle ware.
