I have no way to be a Python developer (at least now) with limited programming experience on a few web projects. Got an opportunity looking at the
OLPC project and, yes,
Sugar gets my interest right away. I have been thinking of creating a
RIA (flash/
ajax/whatever ..) as the X manager on top of X-server. X is client-server based and an
RIA to be the interface mainly as a framework for applications to provide the common
UI components. It is a
SoA design for next generation of desktop! There is no focus on application implementation, leaving the Application Service providers. A
detachable UI concept; so, users decides what the desktop to be. I think it is interesting!
So, I started to be serious looking at Sugar and started a blog for that at:

It is my personal technology interest on the project and it is nothing related to the project. I probably will focus on OS X since it is being done on Fedora. I am actually a Unix guy and have been more than a decade of Linux/Solaris experience. But, OS X is a lot of fun as the desktop UNIX with beautiful GUI comparing to
CDE or GNOME. Anyway it is challenge ..
** just learnt that the GTK+ version ported to OS X might not work with Sugar **
